Photo: ABB From 23 to 27 March, Stavanger will host the [European Robotics Forum](https://erf2026.eu/) (ERF), one of the most important meeting places for robotics and AI in Europe. The event will gather researchers, engineers, companies and policymakers from across Europe. Hosting ERF allows the Stavanger region to showcase its growing and highly applied robotics environment. Eight robotics companies from Rogaland will be represented at a joint Rogaland stand, organised by Invest in Rogaland and  Stavanger Business Region. #### Rogaland: A region where robotics meets real industry needs Rogaland has a long tradition of combining advanced technology with demanding industrial environments. This has helped shape a robotics ecosystem that focuses strongly on practical applications. Companies in the region develop technologies ranging from subsea robotics and inspection systems to autonomous solutions for offshore operations,  manufacturing, aquaculture and health. Close collaboration between industry, research institutions and technology companies has created a dynamic environment where new ideas are quickly tested and applied in real-world settings. #### Meet robotics companies from Rogaland At the exhibition, a joint Rogaland stand featuring eight robotics companies offers an opportunity to meet some of the businesses contributing to the region’s growing robotics industry. The following companies will exhibit at the Rogaland pavilion: #### Ixys Control systems for subsea, surface, air and space  applications. [HVL Robotics](https://www.hvl.no/en/research/group/robotic) #### Beyond the exhibition: Tech tours and B2B matchmaking In addition to the exhibition and workshop programme , ERF offers several opportunities for participants to engage directly with companies. A series of Tech Tours will allow visitors to see robotics and technology companies in the Stavanger region from the inside, with participating companies opening their doors to showcase their solutions.  The forum also includes B2B matchmaking sessions, where companies can get in contact with potential business partners or project cooperation partners via 1:1 meetings.  On Monday 23 March, the exhbition is open to the public and free of charge. ERF is organised by euRobotics aisbl, NORCE and SINTEF, with support from local and regional partners. The findings reflect a wide spectrum of applied technologies, ranging from marine robotics and sensor systems for inspection and maintenance to industrial automation, simulation and human–robot interaction. Conducted by the City of Stavanger in collaboration with Haugaland Vekst and supported by Rogaland County Council, the mapping is intended to give a structured overview of the AI-driven robotics landscape in Rogaland and to create a shared understanding of existing capabilities, opportunities, and needs related to AI-driven robotics.  A report with the main findings will be launched on 20 March.    [Contact Invest in Rogaland](https://investinrogaland.com/contact-us) if you would like more information about technology or robotics opportunities in the region.  Share: [facebook-f icon](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://investinrogaland.com/news/discover-rogalands-robotics-industry-at-european-robotics-forum) [linkedin-in icon](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://investinrogaland.com/news/discover-rogalands-robotics-industry-at-european-robotics-forum) [twitter icon](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://investinrogaland.com/news/discover-rogalands-robotics-industry-at-european-robotics-forum) [pinterest-p icon](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/link/?url=https://investinrogaland.com/news/discover-rogalands-robotics-industry-at-european-robotics-forum) [envelope icon](mailto:?body=https://investinrogaland.com/news/discover-rogalands-robotics-industry-at-european-robotics-forum) ## Related posts [![](https://investinrogaland.com/hubfs/ROV%20for%20underwater%20inspection_Maverix%20Media%20_%20Innovation%20Norway.png)](https://investinrogaland.com/news/rogalands-ecosystem-in-ai-driven-robotics-takes-shape) [Offshore wind](https://investinrogaland.com/news/tag/offshore-wind) #### [Rogaland's ecosystem in AI-driven robotics takes shape](https://investinrogaland.com/news/rogalands-ecosystem-in-ai-driven-robotics-takes-shape) [![](https://investinrogaland.com/hubfs/Pic_robotics5_euRobotics.jpg)](https://investinrogaland.com/news/regional-collaboration-ahead-of-the-european-robotics-forum-2026) [Regional development](https://investinrogaland.com/news/tag/regional-development) #### [Regional collaboration ahead of the European Robotics Forum 2026](https://investinrogaland.com/news/regional-collaboration-ahead-of-the-european-robotics-forum-2026) [![](https://investinrogaland.com/hubfs/53974837193_af39d6a477_k.jpg)](https://investinrogaland.com/news/invest-in-rogaland-at-ons-2026) [Offshore wind](https://investinrogaland.com/news/tag/offshore-wind) #### [Meet Invest in Rogaland at ONS 2026](https://investinrogaland.com/news/invest-in-rogaland-at-ons-2026) [![Invest in Rogaland Logo Black ](https://investinrogaland.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Invest%20in%20Rogaland_black%20(1)-1.png?width=300&height=105&name=Invest%20in%20Rogaland_black%20(1)-1.png)](https://investinrogaland.com) Invest in Rogaland is the official investment promoting agency of Rogaland county.
