New grants for biogas projects in Norway
Norwegian state enterprise Enova SF has launched a new funding programme for feasibility studies for biogas production. The scheme is available for companies planning to establish or expand industrial biogas facilities.

Developing industrial biogas projects requires significant early-stage work. Technical, economic and regulatory conditions must be clarified before an investment decision is made. This programme supports that early phase, helping companies build a solid foundation for moving projects forward.
Biogas is an important contributor to the energy transition and offers multiple benefits at the same time. It reduces emissions, makes better use of organic waste and provides renewable energy where alternatives are limited.
International companies considering projects in Norway are welcome to explore the opportunity. The grants are available for projects that will be established in the country.
More information about the funding programme is available here on Enova's website (in Norwegian).
